FINAL PROJECT

THE WORLD OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES
This activity is thought to be done in two sessions of 50 minutes with students of first of Information Technology.
AIMS:
  • Get students involved with the foreign language
  • Integration of new technologies in the foreign language
  • make us of technological resources applied to the English language
BASIC COMPETENCES:
  • Linguistic and audiovisual
  • Artistic and cultural
  • Learning to learn
  • Knowledge and interaction with the world.
CONTENTS:
  • Vocabulary related to Information technology
  • Narrative in the past. Use of the past simple.
  • Use of connectors.












A. LISTENING.

Listen to the Information Technology job description and say what does it consist in. (Name at least 3 tasks they develop)


B. READING.
Read the following story. It's quite funny!


















B. ORAL PRACTICE


Record yourself during 3 minutes and hang it on your blog. In your recording, you have to answer, at least, these questions.


-Summarize the main idea of the story. What is it about?


-Think about you if you were him or in a situation like that. What would you do?


C. WRITING


Tell me a situation where something similar happened to you or, if you want, you can tell me an anecdote and hang it on your blog.

Recursos Web que he escollit per treballar amb els meus alumnes!

Aquestes webs hem semblen molt interessants perquè pretenen treballar amb els alumnes el treball cooperatiu, a la vegada que ens donen la possibilitat de realitzar tasques més motivadores i innovadores amb el nostre alumnat, com ara Scavenger hunts i Webquests. També ens permeten realitzar projectes col•laboratius amb altres centres i permeten, als alumnes, mantenir correspondència amb gent d’altres països. Aquestes són bones aplicacions per a l’aula. Per exemple, presentar-se a algú per carta o realitzar una webquest són activitats que ens permeten desenvolupar en els nostres alumnes les 8 competències bàsiques, especialment la comunicativa i la metodològica.
